I’m so glad you’re here

Hi there, I’m Molly. I’m a New England native, wife to my husband of 7 years and mom to my two sweet daughters who are now 6 and 4. I was lucky to have an amazing team of midwives and a doula to support me through the labor and birth. Having a good support system from people who know what they are doing, made it a beautiful and transformative experience for me. After giving birth to my girls, I saw a huge need for support in that challenging and delicate phase of life. While sleep deprived and adjusting to my changing body and baby, I longed for supportive and understanding care during that time. I didn't even know a doula existed for postpartum! After my personal journey into motherhood, I became more passionate about helping and supporting other moms and families in the beautiful, but sometimes challenging phase. Getting the doula education was a joy for me and I can’t wait to work with you and provide caring support during this sweet transition into motherhood.
Before you were conceived I wanted you Before you were born I loved you Before you were here for an hour I would have died for you This is the miracle of life. Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away

Frequently asked questions

What is my travel radius? I am based out of Hiram, Maine and I travel within 30-35 miles of my office.
What is my philosophy for care? As a birth and postpartum doula, my job is to give unconditional support to women and their families. Every person, family and home has their own particular needs and style and my job is to support YOU and YOUR birth and parenting style and goals as they develop.
What about mental health support? As a doula, I am not a medical professional or therapist, but I am trained to identify possible mood disorders and I always have lots of resources to help moms that are struggling. My goal is to be sensitive, caring and understanding for whatever feelings may come up for a mom.
What does my postpartum support include? I do whatever you need most! Need a listening ear? I'm happy to sit and chat. Need a good meal? I've got you! I also help with newborn care, breastfeeding support, nighttime help, light housework, grocery shopping, helping with other children in the home etc. This is your journey and we'll come up with a plan that benefits you the most.
Why did i become a doula? I love moms, babies and families! As a mother myself, I saw a huge need in the realm of advocacy in labor, birth and postpartum care and I am passionate about providing support during a time that is too often ignored. Every mom deserves support prenatally, during the birth and postpartum. Care should not end at the six week appointment. Most moms need even more support in the weeks following and I am happy to provide that for my clients.
What is my training? I got my education through DONA international. They are the only world recognized doula association. I am an advanced birth and postpartum doula and advanced lactation counselor. I am currently advancing my education to add additional support and care to my clients in the future.
